A new episode of the Kevin Durant-produced show "The Boardroom" was released Friday, and it featured NBA trainer Chris Brickley in conversation with Jay Williams.

Brickley touched on several topics during the episode, including inking a shoe deal with Puma, working for the New York Knicks, and how he developed his relationship with Carmelo Anthony.

"During the games, there'd be good games, there'd be bad games - and you know, you were in the league - guy has a bad game, he's in the training room," Brickley told Williams. "When the franchise player has a bad game, no one wants to talk to him ... and I was just like, 'He's a human being.' So I would sit down with him, just the way we're talking, and I'd be like, 'How do you feel about the game?' I'd hear him out, and I think over that time, we built our relationship where he's like, 'This guy's here for me when things aren't going great.'"

Brickley went on to call Anthony a "big blessing" for helping connect him with other NBA stars.
