Russell Crowe slams stadium seating for USA-Australia friendly
When a basketball game is played in a stadium usually reserved for sports played on large fields, spectators' views can be less than ideal.
Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe wasn't thrilled with his premium seating for Team USA's pre-FIBA World Cup friendly against Australia in Melbourne on Thursday, tweeting out his displeasure.
$1500 a ticket for this view. AUS v USA .

Jokes on me.
If you weren’t among 50,000 there and you chose to watch it on tv at home, good decision . pic.twitter.com/VlNuXWp6iI
The exhibition contest was played in the 53,000-seat Marvel Stadium - built primarily for the large, oblong field of Australian rules football - and necessitated placing seats on the stadium floor. But unlike when the NCAA utilizes football facilities in the U.S., there appeared to be no grading to the seating around from the court.
Very strange seeing Marvel Stadium transformed into a giant basketball arena. #BoomersUSA pic.twitter.com/qTzJkfvbof

Instead, it featured what appeared to be patio chairs.
Lots of talk already about the view from ground level at Marvel Stadium where ticket holders paid hundreds of dollars to see #BoomersUSA. This is the view... https://t.co/KUpXuYFahM pic.twitter.com/m8Zh3mMPxa

The two squads play again in the same stadium on Saturday. Bring a periscope.
