Panthers' Olsen explains why his Madden face looks nothing like him

Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is a 12-year NFL veteran and a three-time Pro Bowler, so it was puzzling to see his character in Madden NFL 20 come out looking nothing like him.

Olsen offered an explanation while speaking to NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano and Maurice Jones-Drew at training camp on Sunday.

"A couple years ago down at the Pro Bowl they (EA Sports) were doing head scans and I guess I didn't do it. For whatever reason, I was tied up with something else and didn't do it," Olsen said. "Since then, I guess they never asked me to do it again, so now I look like (former MLB player) Nick Swisher.

"I'd prefer it look like me, I'll be honest," he added.

Olsen may get his wish soon. Madden gameplay designer Clint Oldenburg tweeted Sunday that he wants to set up a face scan for Olsen.
