Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue didn't report to training camp Wednesday amid a stalemate over a contract extension, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Talks between Ngakoue's camp and the Jaguars have broken down, a source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. Ngakoue didn't attend mandatory minicamp earlier this year.

The 24-year-old pass-rusher is entering the final season of his rookie deal and is set to earn $2.025 million. The former third-round pick has notched 29.5 sacks since entering the league, leading all players from the 2016 draft class.

A number of other defensive ends received long-term extensions this offseason, including Frank Clark and DeMarcus Lawrence.

Ngakoue registered 9.5 sacks last season, trailing only Calais Campbell for the team lead. He made the Pro Bowl in 2017.
