Jorge Masvidal has his sights set on the ultimate main event following his highlight-reel victory over Ben Askren at UFC 239.

While a welterweight title shot against reigning champion Kamaru Usman could be on the horizon, "Gamebred" said while on "The Dan Le Batard Show" that he's interested in a fight with Conor McGregor.

"I want McGregor, man," Masvidal said. "I want to break his face. I think that's an easy paycheck. He's got these cash symbols written all over his face for me. I just don't see it going his way at all if I'm honest with you."

Masvidal (34-13) needed just five seconds to dispatch of Askren, marking the fastest knockout in the promotion's history. The American Top Team standout believes he can submit the Irish superstar similar to how Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomeodv did.

"He taps," Masvidal said. "I have never tapped in my whole entire career. He's tapped a couple of times. That's backing down right there in my book. So, that's something that I've never done and I feel like I'd break him. It'd be an easy fight."

The 34-year-old said he's also open to fighting Usman for the welterweight title but acknowledged that the McGregor matchup would mean a bigger payday.

"It'd just be more money, more fans," Masvidal said. "And then fight for the title. Or the title. Either one of them makes sense to me."
