Molina rips Marisnick for injuring Lucroy on 'bullshit play'

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina didn't pull any punches after watching Houston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick injure fellow backstop Jonathan Lucroy in a bone-rattling home-plate collision on Sunday.
Molina blasted the 28-year-old Marisnick on social media for running over the Los Angeles Angels catcher.
"Bullshit! MLB (needs) to take action on this bullshit play! Fuck! Praying for Lucroy!" Molina wrote in an Instagram post. "Slide slide slide (fuck)!"
The 16-year veteran wasn't the only one angered by the play, as Angels manager Brad Ausmus called for Marisnick to be suspended following the game.
"It certainly didn't look like a clean play," Ausmus told reporters after the Angels' loss, according to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register. "It looked like Marisnick took a step to the left and bowled into him with his arm up. ... MLB should probably take a look at it and consider some type of suspension, quite frankly."
For his part, Marisnick expressed remorse postgame for the "terrible" play.

Lucroy, 33, was taken to hospital to undergo a CT scan and evaluations for a possible concussion and nose fracture, the team announced.
Home-plate collisions have been illegal in MLB since 2014.
