New York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier was livid with Jake Arrieta after the Philadelphia Phillies starter hit him with a changeup during the fifth inning of Saturday's game. It doesn't look like the beef has ended there, though.

"If Frazier's not happy about it, he can come see me," Arrieta said, when asked about the infielder's reaction to being plunked. "I'll put a dent in his skull."

Frazier's hit-by-pitch was the second Arrieta issued Saturday, as he also plunked Pete Alonso in the first inning. Frazier was ejected after arguing with Arrieta, and warnings were issued to both benches.

Arrieta also drilled Amed Rosario two batters after Frazier. When the hurler wasn't ejected, Mickey Callaway came out to argue with umpires and was also tossed from the game.

It was a rough outing overall for Arrieta, who allowed six runs - five earned - on 11 hits over 4 1/3 innings. He expressed frustration with his command and hinted at a physical issue causing his three hit batters, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic.

The Mets and Phillies wrap up their three-game series Sunday before the All-Star break gets underway. The two teams meet again for a series beginning Aug. 30.
