The Memphis Grizzlies do not intend to buy out veteran forward Andre Iguodala and are instead exploring his trade market, league sources told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Among teams interested in acquiring the former Finals MVP are the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks, sources added.

The Golden State Warriors traded the 35-year-old to the Grizzlies along with a protected 2024 first-round pick in order to shed his $17.2-million salary and create space to acquire D'Angelo Russell via sign-and-trade.

Iguodala has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, but it was widely assumed such a move would come following a buyout by Memphis.

The rebuilding Grizzlies are reportedly optimistic they can find a trade partner and flip Iguodala for additional assets.
