Shaquille O'Neal is looking to expand his business empire.

The NBA Hall of Famer revealed Tuesday in an interview with CNBC Make It's Jade Scipioni that he's interested in buying Reebok, the brand he signed a $15-million sneaker deal with in 1992.

"Well, (Authentic Brands Group, one of the companies) I'm involved in, we just bought Sports Illustrated but I would love to purchase Reebok," O'Neal said, adding that Adidas, which has owned Reebok since 2005, has diluted (the brand) so much to where it's almost gone."

"If they don't want it, let me have it," he continued. "I want to bring them back to basketball and to fitness."

O'Neal became a business partner in Authentic Brands Group in 2015 after selling the company the rights to his future business endeavors. He's also an investor in nine Papa John's restaurants and owns a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts franchise in Atlanta, Big Chicken in Las Vegas, and Shaquille's in Los Angeles.
