With the No. 24 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers selected Virginia guard Ty Jerome. The pick was reportedly dealt to the Boston Celtics, who have moved the selection to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for the Milwaukee Bucks' 2020 first-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 6-foot-5 guard figures to develop into a solid role player and a reliable 3-point threat with an underrated defensive game that hides his lack of athleticism.

Jerome was integral in helping Virginia win its first championship in school history, averaging 13.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and a team-high 5.5 assists per contest.
