Kobe breaks down his 1-on-1 session vs. Beyonce's dad
Kobe Bryant has shared the story behind the recently resurfaced footage of a one-on-one game he played 20 years ago with Beyonce's dad, Mathew Knowles.
Knowles, who played basketball at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, tweeted a clip last week showing him scoring a layup against Bryant while on the set of Destiny Child's "Bug A Boo" music video.
Check out this video of me and Kobe shooting some hoops on the Bug A Boo video set. If you know me then you know I love playing ball! 🏀

Asked about the clip during an appearance on FOX Sports, Bryant said he didn't remember Knowles scoring again after that layup.
"I think that he posted the one that he scored. But, yeah I mean, I had to be nice a little bit," Bryant said. "It is his video set, so I decided to let him get a little layup in. But it was a nice layup though. The left, right? He put a little English on it. I mean, the jab step - it was authentic, right?"

Bryant appears in the "Bug A Boo" video at around the 2:10 mark. (He also rapped on the remix for Destiny's Child's hit "Say My Name.")
