Lobov set to fight Malignaggi after win in bare-knuckle debut

Former UFC featherweight Artem Lobov defeated Jason Knight via unanimous decision Saturday in a five-round thriller in his Bare Knuckle FC debut to set up a fight with rival and former professional boxer Paulie Malignaggi on June 22.

Lobov and Malignaggi had a physical altercation during BKFC's media day on Tuesday.

Malignaggi has a history with Lobov's camp, as the former IBF champion helped Conor McGregor train for his fight with Floyd Mayweather before feuding with the UFC superstar. McGregor posted clips on social media of their sparring sessions, claiming he dominated the former boxing title-holder.

The New York native has since challenged McGregor on multiple occasions to no avail, and he now turns his sights to one of the Irishman's closest friends in Lobov.
