Romo lands second Sports Emmy nomination

Tony Romo is up for another Emmy.

For the second straight year, the former NFL quarterback has been nominated for "Outstanding Sports Personality - Sports Event Analyst" at the Sports Emmy Awards.

Joining Romo in the category are FOX/MLB Network baseball analyst John Smoltz, CBS/Turner Sports college basketball analyst Bill Raftery, NBC Sunday Night Football analyst Cris Collinsworth, ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas, and ESPN/ABC college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who won the award last year.

Romo has drawn rave reviews since joining the CBS broadcast team in 2017. His current contract runs through the 2019 NFL season.
