'Zion Cam' to debut in NCAA Tournament
There will be even more attention on Zion Williamson when No. 1 Duke takes on No. 16 North Dakota State in the men's NCAA Tournament on Friday night.
CBS will have a camera focused solely on Williamson during the game, which is believed to be a first for the tournament.
"Because of Zion (Williamson), we have added a camera dedicated to him the whole time he is on the floor," Mark Wolff, the coordinating producer of college basketball at CBS, said, according to Josh Kendall of The State. "We hired a cameraman, a camera, a digital tape machine to record everything he does."
CBS also had its "Zion Cam" rolling during the Blue Devils' 40-minute practice Thursday.
"We were recording his workout here (Thursday) in the event something were to happen," Wolff said. "We are monitoring Zion 24-7."
