Jimmer Fredette is coming back to the NBA.

The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a contract with the 30-year-old guard, he announced Friday.

Sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania that it's a two-year contract. John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports that the deal is for the rest of this season, specifically, with a team option for 2019-20.

Fredette has spent the last three years playing in China and averaged 36 points per game for the Shanghai Sharks this past season.

The No. 10 overall pick in 2011, Fredette had to fight for rotation minutes with four NBA teams before heading to China. He averaged 7.2 points on 42 percent 3-point shooting with the Sacramento Kings during his best season in 2012-13.
