The Boston Red Sox are reportedly still in the mix for free-agent relief pitcher David Robertson, sources told Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

Feinsand notes there's mutual interest between the two parties, but that several teams are also targeting the right-hander.

Robertson is coming off another solid year as the New York Yankees' setup man. The 33-year-old authored a 3.23 ERA and 2.97 FIP, converting five saves and striking out nearly one-third of the batters he faced.

The one-time All-Star became a free agent at the conclusion of the 2018 season and is coming off a four-year, $46-million contract he originally signed with the Chicago White Sox.

For his career, Robertson owns a 2.88 ERA over 654 appearances, all out of the bullpen. The late-inning reliever has recorded 137 career saves, ranking 98th on the all-time leaderboard. Robertson has thrown at least 60 innings in nine consecutive seasons dating back to 2010.

Robertson is a member of a robust free-agent class of relievers that includes Craig Kimbrel and Adam Ottavino, among others. Andrew Miller, Jeurys Familia, Joe Kelly, and Joakim Soria were also free agents this winter, but have recently inked new deals of their own.
