UCF's Milton carted off field after gruesome leg injury
UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton was carted off the field Friday versus South Florida after suffering a gruesome leg injury early in the second quarter of the Knights' 38-10 win.
Knights head coach Josh Heupel did not provide a diagnosis post-game but indicated that Milton suffered a "tramautic" injury, according to ESPN's Andrea Adelson.
The star junior was hit in the knee area at the end of a designed play. Players from both teams gathered around Milton as he laid on the ground awaiting medical attention.
