The Arizona Diamondbacks are reportedly shopping right-hander Zack Greinke, and despite the pitcher's lofty contract, the team is confident it won't need to include cash in any deal to offset the financial burden, according to Jon Morosi of MLB.com.
Greinke, 35, has three years and $104.5 million remaining on his deal.
A reliable arm, Greinke's thrown at least 200 innings in four of the last five seasons. In 2018, he went 15-11 with a 3.21 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 199 strikeouts across 33 starts.
