Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley join broadcast team for Tiger vs. Phil

Big-name personalities from across the sporting landscape will play a key role in broadcasting the pay-per-view match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

Emmy Award winner Ernie Johnson, perhaps best known for his work on "NBA on TNT," will anchor the broadcast and handle the play-by-play duties of the high-stakes match, Turner Sports announced on Thursday.

Darren Clarke, the 2011 Open Championship winner, and Peter Jacobsen of NBC Sports will join Johnson in the booth as analysts.

Shane Bacon of Fox Sports and LPGA Tour member Natalie Gulbis will be the on-course reporters providing commentary throughout the broadcast.

There will also be a one-hour prematch show hosted by Bleacher Report's Adam Lefkoe which will feature Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, PGA Tour player Pat Perez, and Oscar-winning actor Samuel L. Jackson, among other guests.

The prematch show will be available across all pay-per-view carrier platforms, as well as a variety of social media outlets, according to Turner's press release. It will include banter between the personalities and footage of Woods and Mickelson warming up.

The Las Vegas showdown takes place at Shadow Creek Golf Course at 3:00 p.m. ET on Nov. 23.
