LaMelo Ball's new high school coach foresees a big future for the youngest Ball brother.

Jermaine Jackson, a former NBA player who is now the head basketball coach at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, told TMZ Sports that he believes the 17-year-old could rule a future NBA draft.

"In my opinion, LaMelo Ball can be the No. 1 pick in a year or two going to the Cleveland Cavaliers," Jackson said.

"He's known as (a top NBA pick) all over the world. He has a talent that, some of it just can't be taught. So I'm not the guy that's going to say, 'Oh, let me put some handcuffs on you. Let me put some more dribbling on you.' Hell no."

Ball left Chino Hills High School last year to play professional basketball in Lithuania. He later joined father LaVar Ball's Junior Basketball Association for its inaugural season.

LaVar repeatedly clashed with LaMelo's coach at Chino Hills, but Jackson said he isn't concerned about the Ball patriarch.

"If LaVar's meddling in our team, we have conversations and we talk. And I'm about what's right," he explained. "It's not about who's right, it's about what's right."
