White: Khabib's team released from custody after McGregor refuses to press charges
UFC president Dana White confirmed that three members of Khabib Nurmagomedov's team have been released from custody after Conor McGregor refused to press charges against them, according to ESPN's Ariel Helwani.
White initially said they were arrested and taken to jail for their roles in the chaos that ensued after the UFC 229 main event.
"I'm just disgusted and sick over it," White said, according to Damon Martin of UFC.com.
While Nurmagomedov was being escorted back into the Octagon after leaping out to attack, McGregor's teammate, Dillon Danis, was seemingly sucker punched by one member of the champion's corner while being attacked by another.
Asked what punishment will be levied at Nurmagomedov by the Nevada State Commission, White succinctly replied: "God knows."
