Raiola: Pogba isn't on the market
Manchester United have apparently informed Paul Pogba's agent that the World Cup winner is not for sale.
"I prefer not to talk about (Pogba)," player representative Mino Raiola told Rai Sport, via ESPN. "It's a very delicate moment and we all know that, but Manchester United have been very clear with everybody: Pogba is not on the market."
Pogba's future has been a major talking point during United's disappointing start to the season, and his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho has appeared to worsen in the days since the Frenchman was stripped of the vice-captaincy.
Pogba was prohibited from speaking to the press following last weekend's draw with Wolverhampton, casting more doubt on the player's standing with the club.
The palpable tension at Old Trafford has fueled rumors of a move to Barcelona, with a recent report in The Telegraph indicating Pogba agreed to terms with the Catalan giants over the summer. The 25-year-old apparently asked United's board to sanction an early departure, only for club CEO Ed Woodward to deny that request.
The Telegraph's James Ducker also reported last week that Pogba remains keen to leave United, whether or not Mourinho is fired.
