UCLA QB Modster announces decision to transfer

Sophomore quarterback Devon Modster announced that he's leaving UCLA Friday.
Modster thanked Jim Mora and Chip Kelly for the opportunity on Twitter.

Modster competed for the starting job but lost out to Wilton Speight. After Speight suffered an injury in the season opener against Cincinnati, Dorian Thompson-Robinson took over as the starter.
UCLA is 0-3 and resumes its season against Colorado on Sept. 28.
