Pro skateboarder Lizzie Armanto made history at an event in Vista, Calif., on Sunday, becoming the first woman to successfully complete Tony Hawk's 360-degree loop.
Two other skateboarders, Jeromy Green and Charlie Blair, also pulled off the loop during the event, which came 20 years after Hawk first accomplished the feat, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune's Pam Kragen.
Hawk congratulated Armanto on Twitter afterwards:
Congratulations to @Lizziearmanto on becoming the first woman to complete the infamous loop yesterday. She pulled it just after our @nextvr event ended. It was an inspiring display of fierce determination and skill, and we at @birdhouse are incredibly proud. pic.twitter.com/8ekbUrxkOr
