Free agent David Nwaba has reportedly agreed to terms with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
The move represents the culmination of the Cavs' lengthy recruitment, as the club has reportedly been in contact with Nwaba since the beginning of free agency.
Nwaba will provide the Cavaliers with depth on the perimeter and could play himself into a larger role if Cleveland chooses not to retain restricted free agent Rodney Hood. At a minimum, Nwaba should bring tenacious defending to Cleveland's thin outside rotation.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 7.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 70 games with the Chicago Bulls last season.
