Report: United to sell Daley Blind to Ajax

Manchester United outcast Daley Blind is on the verge of rejoining Ajax.

The Dutch side has reportedly agreed to an initial fee £14 million to sign the versatile 28-year-old from Manchester United, according to Simon Stone of BBC Sport.

It's understood that the fee for the Netherlands international could eventually rise to £18.5 million.

An agreement between the two sides would see Blind put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the club he represented at the senior level for six years before joining United in 2014. The English side signed him for a fee reportedly worth £13.8 million.

Blind's appearances at United were consistent under former gaffer Louis van Gaal, but his role began to decrease shortly after the arrival of manager Jose Mourinho in 2016.
