White confirms Lesnar-Cormier: 'We're definitely going to make that fight'
UFC president Dana White confirmed during the post-UFC 226 presser that the promotion intends for Daniel Cormier to defend his newly earned heavyweight title against Brock Lesnar, though he didn't specify a date or location.
It was reported by Bleacher Report's Jeremy Botter prior to Cormier's first-round knockout of Stipe Miocic that Lesnar would be returning to the Octagon for a bout with the winner of the UFC 226 main event at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 3.
White also confirmed Lesnar has started the process to re-enter the USADA testing pool.
Lesnar was cageside at UFC 226, and entered the Octagon after the conclusion of the fight following a challenge from Cormier.

The current WWE champion hasn't fought since UFC 200 in July 2016, where he defeated his opponent Mark Hunt via unanimous decision. However, Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance and was suspended for a year. The win was subsequently overturned to a no-contest.
