Hanley Ramirez looks to be in no rush to find a new team.

The free-agent slugger is reportedly vacationing with his family in the Dominican Republic as he evaluates his next move, according to Enrique Rojas of ESPN.

Ramirez was designated for assignment by the Boston Red Sox in late May and subsequently released last Friday. The Red Sox are on the hook to pay out the roughly $15 million remaining on his deal this season, while the club that does end up signing Ramirez will only need to pay him the league minimum of $545,000.

The 34-year-old slashed .254/.313/.395 with six home runs, seven doubles, and 29 RBIs in 44 games while splitting time at first base and as the team's designated hitter.

While Ramirez should draw interest from a number of teams, talks on his next destination has remained relatively quiet. Baltimore Orioles executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette confirmed last week that Ramirez was "under consideration" but did not elaborate, and there's been no talk about any link to another team.
