LiAngelo Ball may never become a member of the Los Angeles Lakers - a goal he's publicly stated - but he was given the opportunity to don the purple and gold as part of a pre-draft workout for the team on Tuesday.

Lonzo Ball, the oldest of the three Ball brothers and the Lakers' No. 2 overall pick in last summer's draft, was in attendance watching on the sidelines in support of LiAngelo.

The now-19-year-old LiAngelo departed UCLA during his freshman year after being suspended indefinitely by the college following a preseason shoplifting incident in China. He took his talents to the Lithuanian league as a member of Vytautas Prienu, where he averaged 12.6 points and 2.8 rebounds across 14 regular-season appearances.

LiAngelo said competing in another country with professionals was an eye-opening experience and that he's now more prepared for the trials and tribulations of being an NBA player.

"Oh that changed a lot," he said, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk. "Because if you are not producing over there, they won't ask no questions, they'll just take you off the team like that. You won't get paid or whatever. You got to come in every time ready to play your hardest and produce. That changed my mindset. Every time I hit the court I have to come out and play my hardest."

The Lakers own the No. 25 and No. 47 picks in the upcoming draft, which is scheduled for June 21 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
