Victor Oladipo of the Indiana Pacers, Clint Capela of the Houston Rockets, and Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets were announced as the three finalists for the NBA's Most Improved Player award Wednesday.
Oladipo figures to be the favorite after a breakout campaign in which he hit career highs across the board. Considered an underachiever after four NBA seasons between the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder, Oladipo became an All-Star his first year in Indiana after last summer's Paul George trade.
Capela became a crucial part of Houston's attack, while Dinwiddie averaged a career-high 12.6 points per game.
The winner will be revealed June 25 at the NBA Awards show in Los Angeles.
