Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown made a change to his starting lineup with his team's season on the line in Game 4 Monday night against the visiting Boston Celtics.

T.J. McConnell started alongside Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Dario Saric, and Joel Embiid, with Robert Covington moving to the bench.

The new starting lineup played a grand total of 22 minutes together during the regular season.

McConnell is averaging just 12.5 minutes against Boston but has been effective in his limited playing time. He's contributed four points, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 rebounds per game while connecting on 6-of-7 from the field.

His plus-minus rating of 6.7 is also best on the Sixers.

Covington, on the other hand, has been ice-cold with his shot at just a 27.6 percent clip for 8.7 points in 30.7 minutes. Those numbers are down from 41.3 percent and 12.6 points in 80 appearances during the season.

Philadelphia trails 3-0 against Boston after losing in overtime on Saturday.
