Suspended Joe Kelly takes in Red Sox game from Fenway stands

Currently serving a six-game suspension, Joe Kelly won't be able to rejoin the Boston Red Sox until Wednesday, but that doesn't mean the veteran reliever can't still kick it at the ballpark.

On Sunday, Kelly did just that, parking himself in the Fenway Park stands for his club's series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Kelly, who was suspended six games for throwing at Tyler Austin of the New York Yankees and inciting a brawl back on April 11, bounced between several different parts of the ballpark during Sunday's 4-3 win, posing for pictures with fans as he made his way through the stadium.

"I was in the suite and we weren’t getting any runs and we were losing so I moved and went out to the bleachers. We got a couple of runs," Kelly told WEEI's Rob Bradford. "I moved to another location and that didn’t work, so I moved to the Sam Adams Party Deck and we ended up getting the runs. Then I watched the rest, when Craig (Kimbrel) came in, from the State Street Pavilion. I had to change locations. I was getting superstitious."

According to Kelly, there isn't a bad section in the joint.

"There are no bad seats. There are literally no bad seats," Kelly said. "I sat way far away and everything looked good. I’m like, ‘I can watch the game here.’ It’s not that far away. It’s a good point of view everywhere."
