Report: Boston College's Robinson forgoes senior season, signs agent
Boston College junior Jerome Robinson has reportedly signed with an agent, eschewing the possibility of returning to the NCAA for his senior season in order to go pro, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
A 6-foot-7 guard, Robinson ranked second in the ACC with 20.7 points per game last season, behind only Duke standout Marvin Bagley III (21), a consensus projected lottery pick. In addition to his prolific scoring output, Robinson added 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 0.9 steals per game with 40.9 percent shooting from beyond the 3-point arc.
While not considered a first-round talent, Robinson could hear his name called as a second-round selection in June's NBA draft.
The Eagles went 12-5 to start their 2017-18 campaign, but stumbled in conference play to finish the year at 19-16, falling to Clemson in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.
