SEC rules opening night of NFL draft with 10 first-round picks

It wasn't the dominant showing that happened in the 2017 NFL Draft first round, but the SEC once again ruled the first 32 picks on Thursday with 10 players being selected from the conference.
After tying the record of 12 players in the first round last year, the SEC once again led the way, finishing ahead of the six players drafted from the ACC.
Seven of the 10 players came from the national championship game in January that saw Alabama and Georgia square off, with four from the Crimson Tide and three from the Bulldogs.
