Matt Harvey still wasn't ready to speak with the media the day after making his bullpen debut for the New York Mets, and he didn't have much trouble getting that point across.

Harvey was less than welcoming when reporters approached him Wednesday seeking comment about Tuesday's game.

"No chance. Zero chance," Harvey told media members while laughing, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo.

When asked why he wasn't ready to comment, according to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News, Harvey replied: "I have nothing to say to you guys. I don't fucking want to (talk)."

The former ace of the Mets' rotation pitched two innings in relief against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. He allowed one earned run on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Harvey threw 20 of his 35 pitches for strikes, but also allowed a go-ahead run in the fifth inning. New York eventually won 6-5.

After the game, the 29-year-old refused to speak with media and left Mets manager Mickey Callaway to comment for him.

"He threw the ball well," Callaway said, according to DiComo. "The stuff was crisp. He kept the ball down. And it looked like, to me, he was out there challenging hitters and attacking."

Since Harvey was demoted Saturday, he's made it known that he's upset by the decision. Despite the disappointment, Callaway said his pitcher is handling the change "like a man."
