Liverpool's attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane were firing on all cylinders in Tuesday's 5-2 Champions League semi-final win over Roma, with Salah and Firmino each scoring a brace and Mane chipping in with a goal of his own.

Here, theScore looks at a few numbers behind their monumental showing:

1: Salah became the first African player to score at least nine goals in a European campaign.

2: Liverpool is only the second team ever to score five times in a Champions League semi-final, matching Ajax's 5-2 victory over Bayern Munich in 1995.

3: No other side has ever had three different players tally at least eight goals in a single Champions League season. Salah and Firmino now have 10, while Mane has eight.

5: Salah has scored in each of his last five European outings, a Liverpool record.

10: The Egyptian international's 10 goals in the Champions League is the most by a Premier League player since Ruud van Nistelrooy bagged a dozen for Manchester United in 2002-03. It's also the most ever scored by a Liverpool player in a European campaign.

14: Salah is the 14th player to net at least 10 goals in a Champions League campaign.

28: Mane, Firmino, and Salah have combined to score more goals (28) than any other team in the Champions League this season, though Real Madrid and Bayern Munich - who square off Wednesday - have 26 and 23, respectively.

43: Salah has now found the net 43 times in all competitions this year, four shy of Ian Rush's club record.
