Trey Mullinax is the new course record holder at TPC San Antonio - Oaks Course, after firing a 10-under 62 in round three of the Texas Open.

The 25-year-old put together a blistering back-nine 29 that included two eagles, four birdies, and a bogey. His eagle on 18 moved him to 12-under for the tournament.

The Alabama native was seven shots behind the leaders to begin round three. He finished Saturday as the clubhouse leader.

Matt Every and Martin Laird shared the previous course record of 63, rounds they carded in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

Mullinax will look to pick up his first career PGA Tour victory when the final round tees off Sunday.
