Evan Turner to miss Game 3 with toe contusion

Not only will the Portland Trail Blazers have to overcome a 2-0 deficit, but they'll also have to do it shorthanded.

Blazers forward Evan Turner will not play in Game 3 against the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday due to a right toe contusion, according to NBC Northwest.

Turner has mostly been a non-factor for the Blazers in the first two games of the series. He was horribly inefficient, scoring just 13 points on 21 shots, but was positive on the defensive end.

Blazers coach Terry Stotts will likely fill his minutes with some combination of Mo Harkless and Pat Connaughton.
