Everyone seems to want a piece of Jerry Stackhouse.

The Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic plan to interview Stackhouse for their respective head coaching vacancies, sources told Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania. The former NBA player reportedly has an interview with the New York Knicks scheduled this week as well.

Stackhouse, who spent the 2015-16 NBA season as an assistant on Dwane Casey's staff, has coached the Toronto Raptors' G League affiliate to two consecutive league final appearances, winning the championship and earning Coach of the Year honors in 2017. He also coached with the USA Basketball Select program, ran an AAU program, and served as a mentor to younger players over his 18-year NBA career.

The Hornets are looking to replace Steve Clifford, whom they dismissed last week following five years on the job and only two playoff runs. Like team owner Michael Jordan and new president and GM Mitch Kupchak, Stackhouse has ties to North Carolina, having played for the Tar Heels from 1993-95. Charlotte has also reportedly been granted permission to interview San Antonio Spurs assistant Ettore Messina.

The Magic relieved Frank Vogel of his duties following two uninspiring seasons that saw the team go 54-110 (.329). Orlando hasn't qualified for the postseason since Stan Van Gundy manned the sidelines in 2012 and is looking for its fifth coach since.

Magic president Jeff Weltman worked with Stackhouse during his tenure with Toronto's front office.

The Knicks, who let go of Jeff Hornacek following a fifth straight playoff absence, will reportedly meet with Stackhouse, David Fizdale, Mark Jackson, David Blatt, and Mike Woodson.
