To say Ronda Rousey exceeded expectations during her professional wrestling debut on Sunday night would be a massive understatement.

The former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion got her newfound career off on the right foot at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, submitting Stephanie McMahon with her patented armbar to pick up a victory for her and partner Kurt Angle.

Despite the rules stating that opponents of the opposite sex couldn't strike each other, Rousey still took it to "The Game" with a flurry of punches in the corner.

Stephanie had Rousey in position for a Pedigree after Angle backdropped Hunter to the outside, but Rousey countered into another armbar attempt.
That was enough in the end. Struggling to break loose, Stephanie could no longer fight Rousey off, eventually tapping out while screaming in agony.
