What's better than back-to-back homers to start a game? Back-to-back homers to end a game. But on Tuesday, for the first time ever, you didn't have to choose.

With the Milwaukee Brewers heading into the bottom of the ninth inning trailing the division-rival St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 and down to their final out, outfielder Christian Yelich hit a game-tying home run off of Dominic Leone. One pitch later, Ryan Braun walked it off with a solo shot of his own.

Adding intrigue, the back-to-back dingers from Milwaukee came nine innings after the Cardinals began the game with back-to-back homers of their own. Leading off the top of the first, Dexter Fowler hit a home run on the first pitch of the game, followed by Tommy Pham going yard. It's the first game in MLB history to begin and end with back-to-back homers.

The Cardinals held a four-run lead into the fifth inning before the Brewers began their comeback for an eventual 5-4 win.

The victory improves Milwaukee's record to 4-1. The last time the team started a season this hot was 2008, when the team ended a 25-year playoff drought, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
