The wild adventures of Kyle Schwarber in the outfield (Volume 1)

Left field is always going to be an adventure when Kyle Schwarber takes the field. The Chicago Cubs outfielder had an ugly start to the 2018 campaign, face-planting into the outfield wall as he tried to track a Derek Dietrich flyball-turned-triple in the bottom of the third inning of Thursday afternoon's game.

But wait, there's more. With a runner on, Brian Anderson looped a ball over Addison Russell at shortstop only for Schwarber to try and back up the play. It didn't go as planned.

Yikes. Only the second blunder was credited as an error, so his fielding percentage isn't flying into oblivion just yet.

Stay tuned.
