There have been highlights galore throughout the NCAA tournament, and the best one may have come in the Sweet 16, when West Virginia's Sagaba Konate blocked a vicious dunk attempt from Villanova's Mikal Bridges.

The play began with Villanova inbounding the ball from its own baseline. Donte DiVincenzo threw the rock to Bridges, who managed to get behind the Mountaineers' press.

Bridges started blazing toward the West Virginia bucket. After a few strides, he leaped towards the hoop, his arm dragging behind. Bridges looked ready to deliver the biggest jam of the tournament - maybe even of the entire year.

That's when he met Konate.

Konate is listed at 6-foot-8, but the sophomore forward looked more like a 10-foot wall when he blocked the 6-foot-6 Bridges.

TD Garden in Boston let out a collective "OHHH!" as Konate shut down the attempt.

Konate was credited with three blocks against the Wildcats, but none was more impressive than the denial on Bridges.
