The Charlotte Hornets destroyed the Memphis Grizzlies Thursday night, becoming just the sixth NBA team ever to win a regular-season game by 60 or more points. The last time it happened was Feb. 27, 1998, when the Indiana Pacers beat the Portland Trail Blazers, 124-59.
The 140 points was a season high for Charlotte - one point off the franchise single-game scoring record.

For the Grizzlies, a nightmarish season limps toward the finish line. The 61-point loss was the worst in franchise history. Memphis is now 3-26 on the season against the Eastern Conference, and an NBA-worst 19-53 overall.
