As far as dramatic upsets go, the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is putting March Madness to shame.

Dustin Johnson, the world's No. 1 ranked golfer, lost to Austrian Bernd Wiesberger, who is the 52nd-seeded player in the tournament.

Meanwhile, the sixth-seeded Rory McIlroy, fresh off his victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, was defeated by the 57th seed in the tournament, Peter Uihlein.

The David versus Goliath-magnitude upsets didn't end there, either, as David's slingshot was firing on all cylinders.

Tommy Fleetwood (9) lost to Ian Poulter (58) in a battle of Englishmen, Marc Leishman (11) fell victim to Julian Suri (64), and Phil Mickelson (14) was defeated by Charles Howell III (59).

Each of these players will have two more matches in the round robin to right the ship, but with just one golfer per foursome advancing, these top-ranked players have put themselves in quite a hole.
