Washington's Kamari Pleasant: Competing for role in spring practice
Pleasant is a candidate to fill the "big back" role in the Washington backfield vacated by Lavon Coleman, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis:
Pleasant only saw five carries as a redshirt freshman last year, and even with Myles Gaskin returning, carries will be available in the Husky backfield. Salvon Ahmed is cemented as the No.2 running back, but Pleasant and Sean McGrew will compete against each other for that No.3 role.
