Jim Thome's plaque won't include the Chief Wahoo logo when he's inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame as a member of the Cleveland Indians in July.

Instead, it will feature the Block C logo, according to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

In January, MLB announced the Indians would remove the Chief Wahoo logo from their uniforms after the 2018 season because it's "no longer appropriate for on-field use."

Thome expressed his desire to enter the Hall with the alternate logo on his plaque last month.

"We're going to have some thoughtful conversations once we go there," Thome told Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. "I know my decision would be to wear the 'C,' because I think it's the right thing to do and I fully support the way the Indians, through this week, have done the decision that they've done."

Thome will be the 13th player to enter the Hall of Fame with the Indians as their primary team. Only Earl Wynn's plaque has a version of Chief Wahoo on it.

The 47-year-old Thome will be enshrined in Cooperstown alongside Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, and Trevor Hoffman.
