IT isn't ruling out Celtics return in offseason

Isaiah Thomas is set to taste free agency at the end of the season, and it seems nothing is off the table.

In an impromptu Q&A with fans on Twitter Sunday, one fan asked the point guard if a return to the Boston Celtics was a possibility, and Thomas didn't exactly say no.

Thomas spent two-and-a-half seasons with the Celtics from 2014-17 where he played some of the best basketball of his career.

The 29-year-old scored 24.7 points and chipped in with six assists per game with the Celtics, though his stint in Boston didn't end on the best of terms, when general manager Danny Ainge unexpectedly shipped him to the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer in exchange for Kyrie Irving.
