Devin Davis' college career ends with 2 free-throw misses he'll never forget
Here's how Devin Davis' college basketball career ended Saturday night:
Just before that image was snapped, the Houston senior was standing at the free-throw line about to take two shots - his Cougars up 63-61 on Michigan.
Had Davis made both attempts, the Cougars would've stretched their lead to four with 3.9 seconds left, all but guaranteeing them a spot in the Sweet 16. Had he split the free throws, Michigan would've needed a 3-ball just to send the game to overtime.
However, Davis - who made nine of his first 10 shots from the charity stripe - missed both, keeping the lead at two and giving the Wolverines a chance to either tie or win.
We all know what happened from there:
And that's how Davis' college career came to a painful end in Wichita.
