The Portland Trail Blazers are holding onto Georgios Papagiannis.

Portland is signing the 7-foot center to a deal that will keep him with the team for the rest of the season, a league source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Papagiannis signed a 10-day contract with the Trail Blazers on March 6 after he was cut by the Sacramento Kings in February. Though the Trail Blazers could have extended him another 10-day contract before deciding whether to keep him or let him go, they instead opted to secure his presence down the final stretch of the season and potentially the playoffs.

Drafted 13th overall in 2016, Papagiannis averaged 2.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game with the Kings this season. He has yet to see the court in a Trail Blazers uniform.
